Pizza Day

Pizza Day is a casual cooking simulation game where you run a small pizza kitchen from order to serving. Customers tell you what they want, and you prepare each pizza by working the dough, adding sauce and toppings, baking it, slicing it and handing it over. The individual actions are simple, but following the order accurately becomes more important as you unlock additional ingredients. I find checking the customer’s request before adding toppings saves more time than trying to correct a pizza halfway through preparation.

About Pizza Day

Pizza Day puts you behind the counter of your own virtual pizza kitchen.

Each customer places an order, and you complete the preparation process step by step. That includes kneading dough, spreading sauce, placing the requested toppings, baking the pizza, cutting it and serving it. Successful orders reward you with coins that contribute to further progression.

Latest Pizza Day Update

The current browser edition lists December 2025 as both its release date and latest update.

The official Android edition was updated on December 17, 2025 and currently shows more than 1,000 downloads on Google Play.

Pizza Day Gameplay

Every order follows a simple cooking sequence.

First, check what the customer wants. Then prepare the dough, add the correct ingredients and move the pizza through the oven before slicing and serving it.

Controls

  • Mouse Click: Select and interact
  • Mouse Movement: Guide preparation actions where needed
  • Tap: Mobile interaction
  • Touch Gestures: Complete preparation steps on phones and tablets

The current browser version uses click-or-tap controls and supports desktop, phone and tablet.

The W3C Pointer Events specification explains how modern browser interfaces can support mouse and touchscreen input through a common interaction model.

Taking Customer Orders

The customer’s request determines what you need to prepare.

Before starting, check the required toppings rather than assuming every pizza follows the same recipe. That becomes increasingly useful once more ingredients have been unlocked.

I find it easier to mentally separate the order into three parts: base, toppings and cooking. That makes it less likely that one ingredient gets missed.

Making The Dough

Pizza preparation begins with the dough.

You knead and prepare the base before moving on to sauce and toppings. This step gives Pizza Day more interaction than a simple tap-to-serve restaurant game because the food is assembled through several individual actions.

Adding Sauce And Toppings

After preparing the base, sauce is spread across the pizza and toppings are added according to the current customer’s request.

New ingredients become available as you continue playing, giving later orders more possible combinations.

The important part is accuracy rather than speed alone. Adding an unnecessary ingredient can make the preparation less efficient.

Baking The Pizza

Once the pizza is assembled, it goes into the oven.

The game specifically warns players not to let the pizza burn, so baking introduces a small timing element alongside the preparation mechanics.

I would watch the pizza rather than immediately looking ahead to the next order. A correct recipe still needs to be cooked properly before it can be served.

Cutting And Serving

A finished pizza must be sliced before reaching the customer.

Serving completes the current order and provides coins. This creates the basic progression loop:

Take order → prepare pizza → bake → slice → serve → earn coins.

It is simple enough to learn quickly but has enough separate steps to make each order feel like a small task rather than one button press.

Pizza Day Coins

Serving customers earns coins.

Coins support progression as you continue working through orders and opening additional content.

Rather than rushing through every preparation stage, completing the order correctly is the more reliable way to keep that progression moving.

Unlocking New Ingredients

New ingredients become available as you advance.

This is important because it gradually increases recipe variety. Early orders are relatively straightforward, while a larger ingredient selection means you need to pay closer attention to what each customer actually requested.

Pizza Day Burger Mode

Pizza Day also includes a special burger mode.

This changes the food being prepared while keeping the broader cooking-simulation idea intact. Both the browser description and official Android listing specifically mention burger mode as additional content.

It gives the game a useful change of pace once the normal pizza-preparation routine becomes familiar.

Pizza Day Strategy

Read the entire customer order before starting.

Keep the preparation stages in the same mental order each time so you do not accidentally skip sauce, a topping or another step.

During baking, avoid rushing just because the preparation was completed quickly. A few extra moments of attention are usually more useful than restarting an order because the food was left too long.

For a different relaxed puzzle experience, Mahjong Firefly focuses on matching available tiles instead of restaurant management.

Who Created Pizza Day?

Pizza Day was created by Playrea.

The developer’s current Poki catalogue also includes Brainrot Merge, Brainrot Puzzle, Pocket Zoo and Guess the Emojis.

The Android edition is also published under Playrea, with developer information listing Artem Lanin in Valencia, Spain.

App And Platforms

The browser version supports:

  • Desktop
  • Phone
  • Tablet

An official Android version is available under the title Pizza Day: Pizza Making Game, while Apple’s App Store also lists an iPhone and iPad edition from the same developer.

Games Like Pizza Day

Pizza Day fits closely with cooking and restaurant-management games where completing customer requests drives progression.

Players who enjoy its slower planning side may also like Mahjong Firefly, while Blumgi Paintball provides a completely different option built around short competitive platform rounds.

About This Game

Pizza Day works best for players who enjoy straightforward cooking simulations with visible step-by-step tasks.

Its strongest feature is the complete preparation cycle. You do not simply choose a finished pizza from a menu. You prepare the dough, add ingredients, bake it, cut it and serve it yourself.

The addition of ingredient unlocks, coins and burger mode gives that basic cooking loop enough progression to remain interesting beyond the first few orders.
