Bubble Shooter Classic High Score Reset
The classic bubble shooter in your browser. Aim and fire to pop groups of three or more, drop hanging clusters, and reset your saved high score when you want.
Wiping the board clean and starting fresh is what Bubble Shooter Classic High Score Reset is about, both in the game and on the scoreboard. The game is the classic bubble shooter: coloured bubbles hang from the top, you fire one at a time from the bottom, and three or more of a colour pop. Bubbles left hanging with nothing holding them drop for bonus points. Waste shots and the ceiling creeps down, so steady aim matters more than fast clicking.

How To Reset Your High Score
In a browser game, the high score lives in your browser, normally in local storage or a cookie for that website. There are two honest ways to clear it.
Use The Game’s Own Reset Option
Some versions have a reset or clear button in the settings or score screen. If yours does, that is the cleanest way, because it only wipes the game’s score.
Clear The Site’s Data In Chrome
If there is no button, clear the stored data for that one website:
- Step 1: on the game page, click the icon to the left of the web address.
- Step 2: open site settings or cookies and site data.
- Step 3: choose to delete or clear the data for that site.
- Step 4: reload the page. The high score should be back at zero.
This also clears any other settings the game saved, like sound or level progress. A cleared score cannot be brought back, so only do it when you really want a fresh start.
Why Your Score Might Reset On Its Own
- Private or incognito window: data is deleted when you close it.
- Clearing browsing data: wiping all cookies and site data removes the score too.
- Different browser or profile: each one keeps its own score.
- Browser cleanup tools: some settings clear site data on exit.
If you want to keep a score, use a normal window and the same browser every time.
How The Classic Game Plays
A bubble sticks wherever it lands. Join it to two or more of the same colour and the group pops. Any bubbles that were only hanging from that group lose their support and fall, and falling bubbles score more than popped ones. After a set number of misses, a new row arrives at the top and pushes everything down. If the bubbles reach the bottom line, the game ends.
Controls
- Mouse movement: aims the launcher, often with a guide line.
- Left click: fires.
- Tap or drag and release: aim and fire on touch screens.
- Click the spare bubble: swaps the next bubble in many versions.
Beating Your Fresh Score
Clear The Top Rows Early
The higher a bubble is, the more bubbles hang below it. Opening a gap near the ceiling sets up huge drops later.
Use Every Wall Bounce You Can
Angles off the side walls reach spots that straight shots cannot. Practise one-bounce shots until they feel natural.
Park Unwanted Colours Neatly
When the bubble in the launcher has no match, place it where it will be popped soon, next to the same colour or at the edge of a group that is about to drop. Never throw it into the middle of a clean cluster.
Finish Off Rare Colours
When only a few bubbles of one colour remain, clear them. The launcher tends to offer colours still on the board, so fewer colours means easier matches.
Phones, Tablets And Chromebooks
Browser bubble shooters are built in HTML5, so they run in Chrome, Edge, Firefox and Safari without an install, including on Chromebooks. Aiming with a mouse is the most precise, because you can rest your hand and make tiny adjustments. On a trackpad, slow the pointer speed down in settings for finer aim.
On phones, drag-and-release aiming works well, but your finger can hide the guide line. Drag from lower on the screen so you can still see the path. Remember that each device and browser keeps its own high score, so a reset on your laptop does not touch the score on your phone.
Where Bubble Shooters Come From
The idea started with Taito’s Puzzle Bobble, an arcade game from 1994 also known as Bust-a-Move. A PC game called Bubble Shooter by Absolutist followed in 2002 and gave the genre its common name. Today many free browser versions follow that classic layout, and their makers are often not named.
There is no single official app for the classic web game. This page links Bubble Shooter by Ilyon on Google Play, a long-running classic-style bubble app.

Bubble Shooter FAQ
Can I Get A Reset High Score Back?
No. Once the site data is cleared, the old score is gone unless the game saves scores to an online account.
Why Did My High Score Disappear?
Most often it was cleared with browsing data, or you played in a private window or a different browser.
Do Dropped Bubbles Score More?
In most classic versions, yes. Dropping a large cluster is the quickest way to a big score.
