ChatGPT

ChatGPT is OpenAI’s official app. You type or speak a question and get an answer in plain language, whether you need help writing an email, understanding a topic, planning a trip or fixing a recipe. Your chat history syncs with ChatGPT on the web.

You can talk to it out loud in voice mode, send it photos to explain or analyse, and upload files to summarise. It can also search the web for current information and create images.

Who ChatGPT Is For

Students, workers and anyone who wants quick help with writing, learning, planning or everyday questions.

Things To Know Before You Install

• Only download the app published by OpenAI. Many copycat apps use similar names and icons.
• Sign in to save your chats and use them across devices.
• ChatGPT can make mistakes. Check important facts, especially for health, money and legal questions.
• Free use has limits. Paid plans give more usage and access to more capable models.

Where The Download Comes From

ChatGPT is distributed through Google Play only, so the download button opens the official Google Play page. That is the safe way to get it: you get the real app, signed by the developer, and it updates by itself. Be careful with copies on other sites that call themselves “mod” or “premium” versions, as those are changed files.
