Things To Know Before You Install

• You need to be at least 13 to use TikTok, and accounts for under-18s get extra limits by default.
• Video uses a lot of mobile data. Turn on Data Saver in Settings if you are on a limited plan.
• Screen Time tools in Settings let you set a daily limit if the feed keeps you scrolling.
• TikTok Lite is a smaller version for older phones and slow networks.

Where The Download Comes From

TikTok is distributed through Google Play only, so the download button opens the official Google Play page. That is the safe way to get it: you get the real app, signed by the developer, and it updates by itself. Be careful with copies on other sites that call themselves “mod” or “premium” versions, as those are changed files.
