Anything smaller than your hole falls in when you slide under it. Anything bigger just sits there, blocking your path. Each object you swallow adds to your size, so the city slowly opens up to you: people and bins first, then cars and trees, then bus stops and houses, and finally tall buildings.
Rival holes follow the same rule. If a rival is bigger and drives over you, your match is over. If you are bigger, you swallow them and take a large jump in size.

- Avoid the map edge early. There is less to eat there, and you can get pinned.
- Compare your hole to a rival against the same object, like a car. If the car fits in theirs but not yours, keep away.
- Late in a timed match, go for big clusters, not single items. Every second counts.
Match Types In The App
Classic is a timed race to be biggest. Battle is last hole standing, so you must eat rivals. Solo has no rivals at all, so you try to eat as much of the city as you can before time runs out, which is a calm way to learn each map.
