Gobble

Gobble is a skill-based puzzle game from Fancade where you control a giant mouth in the ground and swallow objects scattered around each level. The catch is simple: you can eat boxes, rocks, trees and other objects, but swallowing a person immediately ends the attempt. I find clearing the smaller objects first useful because it opens more room to move the mouth around without accidentally reaching something you need to avoid.

Gobble Gameplay

Each stage contains a group of objects arranged around a small environment.

1. Find every person first.
2. Identify the objects closest to them.
3. Clear easy objects away from risky areas.
4. Open more movement space.
5. Return to awkward objects once the route is wider.
6. Finish only when every allowed object is gone.

The mistake I would avoid is circling rapidly around the level without checking where people are positioned.

Clearing Small Objects First

Smaller objects can often be removed without changing the whole layout.

Clearing them first can create a wider area for later movement and make the remaining puzzle easier to read.

This is especially useful when people are positioned close to larger objects.

Gobble keeps introducing small changes as you progress.

Fancade specifically notes that every ten-level series adds another twist, which prevents the puzzle from becoming a simple repetition of the first stage.

The best approach is therefore to notice what changed rather than assuming the previous solution pattern will always work.

Fancade’s official wiki also says Gobble was inspired by Mouth by nmskr.
