Androeed

Androeed is a website where community authors post Android apps, games and mods. It describes itself as a place for free Android apps, games and mods, and it even lets visitors order custom mods from authors. This page explains what we saw and why altered files are a risk.

Androeed Moved From One Address To Another

When we opened the older androeed.store address, it sent us on to androeed.io. The page shows an English and Russian choice, a catalog of apps and games, categories and a timeline of uploads. A copyright line runs from 2012 to 2026.

It says nothing about the company behind it. All it shows is a list of community authors, such as Bubalex88 and shaman, with their build counts and subscribers.

The monetization section the site mentions is a reminder that mod authors are paid for traffic or orders. Money in the loop is not a problem on its own, but it gives authors a reason to publish fast and to promise features loudly, while the buyer carries the risk if the file fails.

Authors Make The Mods And Strangers Pay For Them

The site has a section where visitors can order a custom mod from an author, and another where authors can earn money from their work. That makes each file the product of one person with their own motives. There is no developer sign off, and no outside auditor.

Paying an unknown author to change a game or app you do not own is both risky and often against the game’s terms.

The file types the site says it offers:

• APK for the main program.
• OBB for extra game data.
• XAPK for bundled packages.

APK, OBB And XAPK Files Each Need Care

Large games ship in several pieces. An APK is the main program, an OBB holds the extra game data, and an XAPK bundles both into one file. Installing these by hand means placing files in the right folder and allowing unknown sources, which skips the store’s checks. A mistake can leave a half installed game, and a bad file can run code with the same rights as the app.

Any one of the three can hide extra code, so the format tells you nothing about safety.

Use Google Play Or The Studio For The Real Build

The safest way to install games is the official store. Google Play delivers the data files for you and checks the build, and updates come on their own. When a game is not in your region, ask the studio or look on its website.

If you want to change a game, many offer official settings, free events or cosmetic packs. This page does not link to Androeed, and we do not tell readers to download from it.

Paying an author for a custom mod also means handing over a game name, sometimes an account detail, and a payment, with no refund path if the file turns out bad.

Compare any file’s size and name with the official listing before you open it, and delete it if they differ.
