Market Boss Simulator Web Version

Market Boss is a supermarket simulation by Izyplay Game Studio, first on phones and later in browsers. You stock shelves, serve customers at the register, open new sections and train staff to grow the store.

Description

Before it reached browsers, Market Boss was a phone game, and the Market Boss Simulator Web Version brings that same supermarket to a desktop browser with no install. You play a shop owner who hauls goods from the back room, fills shelves, rings up customers and slowly builds a corner shop into a full supermarket. Once money starts flowing, you add new product sections, hire and train workers and set up deliveries. What makes it tricky is that every new section is one more shelf that can run empty while you are busy somewhere else.

How The Web Version Differs From The Phone App

Izyplay Game Studio released Market Boss on Android in October 2021 and on iOS in January 2022. The WebGL browser version came in April 2022, and FRVR publishes it on the web. The store, the products and the staff system are the same idea across all versions. The main difference is how you control it.

  • Web version: keyboard movement or a held mouse button, played on a desktop or laptop.
  • Phone apps: touch controls, built for a portrait screen.
  • Saves: the browser keeps its own progress on that browser, and the app keeps its own on the phone, so they do not share a save.

CrazyGames lists the browser build as desktop only, so phone players should use the official app instead of a mobile browser.

Running The Store From A Keyboard

  • W, A, S, D: move your shop owner.
  • Arrow Keys: the same movement for players who prefer them.
  • Hold Left Mouse: walk toward the pointer.
  • Left Click: press menu and upgrade buttons.

Keyboard movement is more exact in tight aisles, while the mouse is handy when you are crossing the whole store.

Why WebGL Lets A 3D Store Run In Chrome

The web version uses WebGL, a browser standard for drawing 3D graphics that lets the game use your computer’s graphics chip. It is the reason a 3D store with shelves, boxes and customers can load in a tab. If the game feels slow, check that hardware acceleration is turned on in your browser settings and close tabs you are not using. Full screen mode can also help the game use the whole window.

Planning Your Shop Layout Around Busy Shelves

The store grows through new sections such as candy, drinks and fresh produce. Each one is more income, but also more walking. A few planning habits help:

  • Watch which product empties first and treat that shelf as the priority on every trip.
  • Unlock new sections one at a time, and only when the current shelves stay full for a while.
  • Save money for a worker right after a new section opens, because that is when restocking gets heavy.

The Three Stages Of Growing Your Supermarket

It helps to think of a Market Boss run in three rough stages, each with a different job for you.

  • Corner shop stage: you do everything. Keep trips short, sell fast, and put every coin toward the next shelf.
  • Busy store stage: new sections open and the walking doubles. This is where the first worker pays off most.
  • Supermarket stage: trained staff handle the shelves, so your time goes into the register, upgrades and the delivery service.

Knowing which stage you are in tells you what to buy next, which matters more than how fast you move.

Staff Training And The Delivery Service

Hiring a worker takes some of the box carrying off you. Training makes that worker more productive, so one trained employee can handle what used to take two trips of your own. Training the staff you already have is often better value than hiring another untrained worker.

The delivery service is the late step that makes money even when you are not standing at the register. It is the closest thing the game has to passive income, and it helps fund bigger expansions.

Is The Web Version The Real Game?

Yes, as long as you play it on an official listing. The web build is published by FRVR, and you can find it on the FRVR Market Boss page. Third-party sites that copy browser games may host older builds with extra ads, so the official listing is the safest option. If you are on a school or work computer, follow the rules for that network.

For phones, the official Android app on Google Play and the iOS app on the App Store, listed as Market Boss by Izyplay Game Studio, are the genuine mobile versions.

Market Boss FAQ

About This Game

Market Boss started as a phone game and the web version keeps the same easy idea: stock the shelves, serve the line and grow the store. On a desktop, keyboard controls make it quick to move between aisles.

Play the official web build on a computer, use the app on a phone, and expand only when your staff can keep up.
